mourner There's no hiding of the influence of Bolt Thrower but Extermination Order deliver their death metal with a keen sense for tasteful melodies and varied songwriting and manage to deliver an EP that is far more their own than it appears at first. And Siege Of Power will certainly be an absolute killer live. There is a great potential for the future. Favorite track: An Iron Shroud.

Morsure A napalm death’s cover unexpected at the end of the album. Unexpected compared to their influences but very well respected. Overall, a really surprising group with its quality of composition and excellent performances. A little more Boltthrower in the recipe would be great...

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Nobody does death metal quite like Sulphur Aeon. Meticulously crafted dark and brooding atmosphere that oozes with Lovecraftian horrors. This release might not be as punchy as their previous two but it’s still excellent. 8/10 RJ
