"In the Shadow of the Horns" was Gusi's addition to our cover list and we immediately accepted it. This recording was originally planned as an addition to some other bonus tracks for our compilation album "The Coffin Years" (Released by BlackSeed Productions in February 2015). The fact that we wanted to do a Death Metal cover of a Black Metal legendary hymn was so challenging that we got really excited. We tried to imagine how really old DARKTHRONE would have played "In the Shadow of the Horns" and changed the song a bit to try to match that vision, so don't go nuts if you see some slightly differences at the end of the song compared with the original one... Since Mr. Nocturno Culto sadly doesn't play in GRAVEYARD, we also changed that infamous scream at the beginning to something more "fitting"...
